How many Christians still wield the sword
like Peter in the garden of Gethsemane.
Dim is the mind which cannot distinguish
the symbol from its source.
Maybe Jesus should come back
and say,
“Do not think that I came to bring a sword to the earth
I did not come to bring a sword,
but the very touch of Eternity.
“Some will gladly lay down their isolation to receive this touch.
Others, for fear of losing their life in this world,
will resist til the very end,
when the body dies and surrender is no longer an option–
it is mandatory.
“Friends: God touched me,
and I became Him.
“I in turn touched you,
and you became Me.
“It is now upon you to touch others,
that they may become You.
“Now, go out and play tag with the world,
so we may all become It.”
Not One, Not Two
